It’s December! Which means it’s almost Christmas. If you’re like me, you’ve been thinking for months now about what to get the important people in your life but… have yet to actually purchase anything. I love looking at Gift Guides each year because it’s such a great way to get new ideas or find things you want to put on your own list. This year I’ve decided to come out with a couple so check out our other gift guides for even more ideas for this Christmas.
Here we are with our gift ideas for our smallest travelers. As a mom of an eight-month-old and a two-year-old who has traveled with them on countless long and short flights to four continents, at least fifteen countries (that my foggy mom brain can remember), stayed in dozens of hotels, moved to Japan, and sat through tantrums, poopsplosions, meltdowns, and hunger strikes I have learned a thing or two about traveling with kids this age.
To help me make this list I looked at everything I use daily with my kids and what they love while we travel. I also looked at other lists to see if there were other things I could recommend (and buy for them). So, for this list, I’m including items that will either entertain your kids, help them to have a more comfortable transition as you move around the world, or make your life easier and your travels more enjoyable.
